1. Not enabled by default
PulseHireX is not offered as a HIPAA-enabled service merely because a customer works in healthcare. Customers must not submit protected health information unless Question Techs has signed a Business Associate Agreement and the applicable order expressly identifies an approved HIPAA use case.
2. When a BAA applies
A signed BAA defines permitted uses and disclosures, safeguards, incident reporting, subcontractor duties, access and amendment support, accounting obligations, termination and return or destruction. It applies only to the covered services and configurations stated in that agreement.
